What do you do and how has your experience in the healthcare industry been?
Doctors Torrubia and Garbayo are pioneers in aesthetic medicine with over 35 years of experience. In just the last 10 years, more than 100,000 patients have visited our medical team to lose weight, reduce volume, and improve their aesthetic appearance.
How many international patients do you receive per year?
So far, very few, as our healthcare services were originally aimed exclusively at national patients. Until now, we have received patients from all over Spain, and recently, thanks to MTA, we have expanded to welcome patients from all over the world.
Do you have any remarkable patient stories you’ll like to share?
An interesting fact is that until recently, we had never done any marketing, yet we managed to attract patients from over 500 km away. Patient satisfaction and word of mouth are our main assets.
How do you see the future of medical travel?
Just like in other sectors, healthcare consumers are demanding access to international services without borders. For this reason, medical tourism is booming in many countries. Spain, in particular, is one of the main countries that are leading the future in medical travel. First of all, it has highly qualified professionals and very high standards of clinical quality and safety. Additionally, it is a country with a well-established tourism industry, thanks to its safety, climate, pricing, and cultural and gastronomic offer.
What is something unique that you offer as a healthcare provider?
Our entire team is composed by doctors specialized in weight loss treatments and complete body remodeling. We offer a wide range of services, from natural methods like diet, acupuncture, mesotherapy, and electrotherapy, to more invasive techniques like aesthetic surgery. This allows us to approach patients from a holistic perspective to achieve better results, without side effects or the "rebound" effect.

For our international patients, we offer a wide range of aesthetic medicine treatments, aesthetic surgery, gyneco-aesthetic services, and anti-aging medicine (bioidentical hormones).
What medical procedures do you offer?
Among the wide variety of treatments, the most demanded ones are full face treatments, liposuction, breast augmentation, facelifts, blepharoplasty, abdominoplasty, and the insertion of bioidentical hormone pellets.
