My name is Armando Juarez, and I am coordinating this year’s 3rd Global Ministerial Summit on Medical Tourism at the 5th World Medical Tourism & Global Healthcare Congress taking place October 24-26, 2012 at the Westin Diplomat hotel in Ft. Lauderdale / Miami.
I am thrilled to inform that Dr. Mohammad Taufiq Mashal, Director General of Preventive Medicine has confirmed his participation to represent the Ministry of Public Health for Afghanistan at the upcoming Ministerial Summit. This Global Summit on Medical Tourism takes place within our larger 5th World Medical Tourism & Global Healthcare Congress.
In order for a country to develop and grow its medical tourism industry, it is vital that its Ministers of Health, Tourism and Economy, as well as Trade Commissioners, Consul Generals and VIP international officials attend this Ministerial Summit (by invitation only) where best practices in the medical tourism industry are shared and promotional programs and channels are presented.
The attendees have the opportunity to collaborate in the roundtable session on October 24, 2012, to share information about existing programs. They also have the opportunity to foster the development of emerging programs as well as to create strategic alliances that generate revenues for their country and improve the medical care and medical access of their own population.
